In the warm morning Dec 11th 2009，guests form ERRC visited our college. They are Martha, David, Sylvia Fields and Barry Barlow. The ERRC stands for Educational Resources and Referrals Center. It’s a nonprofit organization founded in 1986 by Mrs.Martha Chan in Berkeley, CA. it’s a group that committed to education and culture exchange. ERRC recommended three great foreign teachers to our college. These three teachers are Paul Ramsey，Carolyn Ramsey and Steve Ollanketo. Their arriving has furnished the fresh vigor into our foreign language teaching.
Vice President Liu Xiang, Dean of Foreign Department Lin Nanqiang, deputy director Dong Yongyan, deputy director of Education Department Song Feiyu and Foreign Affair Chief Yu Huaping and Section member Ai Li attended the meeting. Vice President Liu Xiang introduced the history of our college and foreign affairs. And they give some good suggestions for foreign teachers about teaching affairs. And they also spoke highly of the three foreign teachers recommended by ERRC. Vice President Liu Xiang expressed his gratitude and wish for a further cooperation. After the meeting, we visited our college and had lunch together.
