The college integrates self cultivation & brain gain, and combination of full-time & part-time teachers in order to build a stable and high quality faculty group and a tutor group who love their posts. In terms of characteristics and requirements of higher vocational education, the college cultivates double qualified teachers, employs excellent postgraduates graduated from 211 project universities and colleges and carries out training plan of backbone teachers. Outstanding part-time teachers from inside and outside of Yunnan are employed. Furthermore, the college widely employs experienced experts to organize education supervisor team so as to accelerate the growth of young teachers and guarantee the teaching quality.

There are 745 full-time teachers teaching in the college. Among them, 219 hold senior titles and 318 medium professional titles，accounting for 72%. More than 200 teachers have master degree. In addition, the college employs many experienced part-time teachers from other schools, among which more than 80% are professors and associate professors. In the meantime, the college employs "double-qulified teachers" experts from working line of management and producing.
