Wu Rui, member of the Communist Party of China, was born in Qujing of Yunnan province in February 1964. He graduated from Tsinghua University with Doctor Degree of Business Administration, and he is assistant professor. He got Bachelor Degree from Physics Department, Yunnan Normal University in July of 1986, and Master Degree in higher education of physics in 1992. He has worked in Qujing Teachers’ College. He was vice-dean of Politics Research Office, secretary of Students’ Affairs, dean of CPC Office, secretary of Party Branch and director of Distance Education etc. He has been awarded the title of “Excellent Educator“, “Excellent Teacher”, “Excellent Party Member”, and “Excellent Head Teacher” etc.
In January 1996, he was engaged in starting South Youth Training College as a vice-president. With 5 years, South Youth Training College developed faster and faster and had more than 5800 students. He was hailed as a contributing, characteristic and promising president by Ling Hu’an, Provincial Committee Secretary of the CPC. In 2001, he was engaged in establishing Yunnan Normal University Business School as a vice-president. From 2002 to 2006, he set up Yunnan Business Tourism Management School, Kunlun Middle School and Kunming Modern Business Tourism School and was legal representative and principal. He insists school serves for Chinese people, whatever government-run school or non-government-run school.
Vice-president Wu Rui is not only a strict, easy-going, hardworking person, but also a person trying to impart knowledge, educate people and look after students. With decade-teaching experience, he published about 40 theses, such as Typical Solutions of Junior Physics, Oral Mandarin Training of Vocational School, Survival Competition and Relationship Ability, Solutions of Physical learning for postgraduates and Double Win Success etc. He believes that education is a science, a career and an art. So it needs to be true, to contribute and to create. More than 20 years pursuing and struggling for education, his achievements and the schools he has worked at are reported by media and radios.
